Heat Pump

A heat pump is a device used for the purpose of transferring heat from one place to another.

Heat pumps are energy efficient because they do not generate heat; they transfer heat from one location to another. Heat pumps can run on electricity and some models can run on renewable energy sources such as solar energy. Heat pumps are used in a wide range of applications, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

There are three main types of heat pumps: air-source, ground-source and water-source. Each has its own benefits and drawbacks. The best heat pump for a specific application depends on a number of factors, such as climate, building size and energy source.
